Do I need a finished drawing to start?
A drawing gives the clearest starting point, but you can begin with a sample description and application. Before supply is agreed, geometry, alloy, temper, tolerances, finish, quantity and inspection expectations need to be defined.
What is the difference between hollow and open profiles?
A hollow section encloses a cavity, such as a tube. An open section, such as a channel or angle, does not fully enclose one. Custom assembly profiles may combine several features, so the actual drawing is more useful than the category alone.
Can tooling and finishing be included in my enquiry?
Yes. Explain whether you need profile supply, a new die, surface finishing or a coordinated scope. Specify the visible surfaces and any assembly or fabrication requirements.
